I know I’m beating a dead horse, but more than 48 hours after Orlando Police arrested a St. Cloud man for allegedly carrying a loaded handgun in carry-on baggage through an X-ray checkpoint at Orlando International Airport, OrlandoSentinel.com topped its “Breaking News Center” at mid-day Tuesday with the story.
If you read this blog you know I think “breaking news” is an oxymoron, but nothing more than two days old should be labeled as “breaking.” Is there a name for news that reporters missed?
